PROJECT PLANNING
Project planning will help you have consistency and perseverance in your project; it will encourage you to actually do it and for it not to remain as only an idea. You need to be efficient in your scheduling, as the New York Film Academy states, and the planning must be realistic, taking into account the circumstances of your partners. You should set goals and create a timeline to achieving them, a “Work Callendar”. In your filming days and schedule, you are going to face problems with actors. They complicate the dates and you have to coordinate with them to establish in which days you are going to practice and record. Also you need to pick your shooting locations, select them according to what you need for the script (Dreamboard) and what you can afford as (Raindance); if you do not have budget, ask for favors or known people that can help you
OUR EXPERIENCE
In our case, we established dates to the different sections of the short film. We made a work calendar to set when are we finishing the script, when we are filming and when we are finishing the short film. This helped us a lot to get to do it as fast and good as possible. When you casted and gathered the actors, you should coordinate the filming dates, being patient and tolerant to their times.

SCRIPT DEVELOPING
In this section, you can see how we developed and refined the script for our short film: we defined the story, the characters, the dialogues, and the narrative structure that serve as the foundation for the entire production.

CASTINGS
We carried out the casting process by organizing auditions and evaluating different actors to find the right fit for each role. We focused on how well their performances matched the characters’ personalities, emotions, and relationships within the story. This step allowed us to build a strong and believable cast that brings the short film to life.

PROJECT PLANNING
We planned our short film by organizing the timeline, assigning roles, setting goals, and outlining each stage of production to ensure an efficient and well-coordinated process.
